Development Plan Representations
Since the current development plan system was brought into effect by the 2004 Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act we have been very active in promoting sites for allocation on behalf of clients in authorities throughout the East Midlands, East and South East of England. Our team has gained considerable experience and understanding of how this system operates enabling us to advise clients on the best approach to securing a positive outcome.
We are well practiced at making representations on core strategies, allocations DPDs and supplementary planning documents. Our team has also appeared at a number of Examinations in Public to represent our clients.
Sites currently being promoted vary in size and character, from small edge of village locations to major urban extensions. Woods Hardwick Planning is seeking to secure allocations for residential, employment, leisure and mixed use developments. Recent successes can be seen on our news page.
Members of the team keep up to date on Government announcements and policy changes so that we are in a position to advise clients on the implications for their sites.
