Russell Gray

Director
Russell graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Geography and Planning Studies in 2001. Prior to joining Woods Hardwick Planning in 2004 he worked as a Development Control Officer at Mid Bedfordshire District Council gaining valuable public sector planning experience. Russell completed a part time Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Planning in 2005 and become a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2006. He was made an Associate Planner in 2008 and became Director of the company on 13 May 2011. Russell has experience in leading a variety of projects in all areas of town planning. In particular he has been heavily involved in the promotion of sites for allocation in emerging Development Plan Documents under the development plan system brought about by the Planning & Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.

John began his career with Exeter City Council after obtaining his planning qualifications at Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham. After 11 years with Bedford Borough Council in Development Control he joined Woods Hardwick in 1988. John was a Director of Woods Hardwick Planning Ltd from 1999 to May 2011 when he moved into his current role as a Consultant. John has wide ranging experience of promoting sites, applications and appeals across a broad spectrum of types of development from single dwellings to leading the development team on settlement and sustainable urban extension proposals.

Tim Collie
Planner
Tim undertook his Urban and Regional Planning Masters Degree at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh and was elected a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in July 2010. His work covers a wide variety of areas including planning applications, appeals and the promotion of sites through the LDF process.
